Enjoy this beautiful house in the heart of the Aude valley. The Forge is spacious and well equipped with its own private pool and garden. Situated in the centre of Esperaza but on a quiet street you are just a walk away from shops and cafe's and the vibrant sunday market selling local produce, clothes and gifts handmade by local artisans. The area itself is rich in history. Ideally placed between Quillan and Limoux but also just a 40 minute drive to Carcassonne with the beautiful Cite.

Quaint home with lovely back yard and over all beautiful. Floors were cracked. I drove a van and it was very difficult driving into entry way, I scraped my van. Parking was difficult, not good for large vehicles. Otherwise a nice home.
Delightful, quirky, well appointed house in a delightful, quirky village with all the amenities. Special shout out to the butcher’s and baker’s and the folks at Cafe du Pont. Cooked amazing meals with local produce and drank local wine, then walked it all off on our way up to mountain top castles (so many of them!). Tons of pots and pans in the kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and loads of hot water, plus plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Loved the Sunday market too. I could go on but I’ll stop now….
