Villa Laurier-Rose is modern property set in an elevated position amongst the former Espinet

vineyard at the Northern end of Quillan, just a 50 minute drive from the historic medieval

walled City of Carcassonne and the nearest airport. It has panoramic views from most rooms

towards the Pyrenees, directly down the Pier-Lys Gorge and the often-snowcapped peaks beyond.

The accommodation is spacious and  contemporary available with a modern fitted kitchen with high end appliances and granite worktops, a large open plan dining area giving on to large lounge with adjacent dedicated office space, complete with desk and fibreoptic WiFi 

The whole property benefits from underfloor heating and cooling, supplemented by a large

contemporary log burner, perfect for those cosy cooler evenings with family and friends.

There are two master suites with dedicated external access, each with bedroom, dressing

area and bathroom, one with a small private terrace.

Upstairs are two further bedrooms with their own shared shower room.

There is also a dedicated laundry room with washing machine and drying area.

Outside is a lawned garden with a private pool (with stepped sides for safety along with

solid safety cover), sunbathing terrace and shady terraces, dining terrace with large wooden

dining table, along with a foosball table and olive trees, complete the outside space.

The pool is 11m x 3.6m, depth 1.5-1.6m with multiple access steps.

Truly a place to relax in style and enjoy the glorious views and the pool, lawned area, sunny

terraces and shaded dining area under the large outdoor dining terrace.

We can arrange a private caterer to provide breakfasts and/or evening meals (notice

required) and we can also provide a bespoke shopping service to have everything ready for

your arrival.

If you prefer to shop for yourself, the main local supermarket is a 10 minute walk away, just

at the bottom of the hill, with café, hair studio and launderette. Here you will also find the

bus stop, from where you can get to Carcassonne, or Perpignan, for just 2E.

Despite the seemingly private and quite location, during the summer months there is a

terraced wine bar, and year-round there is a high quality restaurant and bar, just a few

minute’s walk away at the adjacent Espinet Holiday Resort, which is next to the property.

The Espinet Resort has a Fitness and Wellness centre available for use of guests by

independent arrangement with the Resort.

A short downhill walk away (1,5km) is Parc St.Bertrand, a newly built municipal country park

featuring fishing lake, swimming lake with lifeguard, restaurant/bar, beach and inflatable

assault course (summer only), downhill mountain bike course, tennis courts, basketball

courts, frisbee golf course, children’s play area, BMX pump track and 25 metre zip line. A

picnic area under the pine trees with its barbecue and a pétanque court, beach volleyball

and football pitch complete these facilities, with the majority being free or very reasonably

priced to use.
